Design allows me to see more peripherally. Lightweight and comfortable. I used my last pair at least 7 years until they were snapped in the middle by careless movers after we bought our new home. I kept them hanging outside my bag so partially my fault. Nonetheless, I'm glad to know the style of goggles are still available.
