The balls were free when I had my racquet restrung. They play differently than Penn balls. Not worse or better just different. My friends and I couldn't decide if the balls were "too hard" but they are different than Penn. Again, not better or worse. I did like the two-color aspect which made the ball easier to see while playing.

The unique two-tone colors of these balls make them fun to play with. As with all other balls I've purchased from RacquetWorld - they are not stale and have a lively bounce out of the bag. I seem to be able to see them better with my old eyes too - though don't quote me on that. I think you could use them in place of the high definition balls.
