Purple have always broken far too quickly. The density and weight are very hard on your arm and strings. There are so many better options on the market now. Miss these, especially as the price continues to climb for nothing.

These are my favorite balls. That said, periodically I get what must be a bad batch. A few weeks ago I broke 4 balls in the span of a week, all in the first game they were used. I don’t hit the ball that hard.

Broke a few balls with the logo still on, and Penn will replace the balls with breaks at a 2-1 ratio, which is simply excellent. The customer service at Penn was outstanding.
Can we make the balls sound louder, so it may seem I am hitting them harder? lol

I ordered six jugs for our 2023 state championship tournament. The balls are actually better than in the past with fewer broken balls.
We put some of our players under the radar gun. We had a B player rip a forehand at 141 MPH. Even he couldn't break these balls.

These are normally my go to racquetball for practice and tournaments. However, occasionally I'll get a pack of 3 where all 3 balls break on the same night. That happened last night. I would think that has to be some defect in those balls because I can normally get several games out of a ball and often the ball will wear before breaking. We broke all 3 last night in 3 games.

I've tried these, the regular blue Penn balls, two types of Ektelon, and one of the Python. I always come back to these, though. They have the best spin and the best bounce of any ball, in my opinion and I personally think they're the most durable. Also, @Ben or anyone else who has an issue with a ball breaking before the logo wears off... Penn has a replacement warranty where if you send them a broken ball that still has visibility of the logo, they will send you a new can for free. So just contact the customer service line. They've replaced about a dozen or so for me over the past 14 years.

The first ball out of the can lasted about 3 hits before it cracked along the seam. The other two balls are fine. These are my favorite and the favorite at my club and usually are long lasting and lively (but not too lively).
