I love this gloves. You still get a good grip when glove is wet. I did have a seam issue with one glove in my last purchase within a few points of my first game. Even with the issue I strongly recommend this glove.

I found these to run small, so order a size up. They grip well, and the leather stays soft. I had issues with seam separation, so they didn't last all that long.

Good Grip, Not Great Longevity

I am notoriously hard on gloves. These gloves have good grip, but like others I have experienced separation at seams in various locations on the gloves.
Part of the issue is that these gloves are sized smaller than expected. I recommend ordering one size up from normal gloves, especially if you play with absorbent glove inserts.

I have a recurring problem with these in that the thumbs are always too long and it's annoying, besides the thumb then bunching up.
Maybe I just have short thumbs? I don't need a thumb nipple on my glove...

The only downside is when fairly new they do leave a bit of black dye on your hand, as long as you don't put it on your face you'll be fine.

I have ordered from Racquetworld one of every high quality glove they have. I settled on the Gearbox because of quality and playability.
The glove is slightly thicker than the other gloves, more like a batting glove than a golf glove. I like the thicker glove for my power/control game. I am an average sweater and use a pair of wrist bands and a headband when playing.
If you use one per game like I do and rotate through six gloves they will last you a year. I play 3x per week, 2 hours per session.

The best and the worst!

This glove is by far my favorite glove, I like the leather which is soft but also thick. It does stain my hand some, but I don't really care about that. What I hate is that they are not made all that well. They split and/or come apart at the seams. I bought 6 a while back and one that I've never even played with is coming apart at the seam. They are too expensive to be so poorly manufactured. I am experimenting again with other brands, so far nothing performs as well. Frustrated.

The gloves appears to be made from a thinner softer material from the original glove. The stitching sometimes unravels at the thumb between the fabric and leather. The leather in the palm area wears down or splits first. This is decent glove, but doesn't last long for the price.

I have tried many gloves and brands, and use inner white gloves, but many of them after the first game, need it to change new ones, because could not hold the grip tight. I am one of those that need to look after all the time, but with Gear, and using one size smaller, like in my case medium size, that's it. The best gloves for me.

I have about 12 of them. The only slight downside is there's been some variance of size with the larges. Some are tighter than others. But they hold up well and keep my hand secure. I can go 3-4 games without switching.

I recently purchased two Gearbox gloves after playing with a Ektelon glove for years. The glove fits well and it is very flexible. One of them tore within two weeks but the other one is still fine.

I rate these Gearbox gloves as the best I have ever used. They last about 3 times longer for me than any other brand. The leather is a bit thicker.
The only negative thing is that the black dye gets on your hand, but I'll take that for the long life & durability.
